BUTTERFLY ADDITIONS FOR HYDERABAD CITY

An article - City biodiversity improves significantly published in Telangana Today , Dated 19-4-2023 , caught my immediate attention , since it included one image of butterfly as well as list of  9 butterfly additions with scientific names and families.

HYD - new acronym for HYDERABAD YOU DESERVE is the city where I am born and is presently living. Its the place which I love mostly after Delhi ( where I stayed for my Doctoral programme at IARI, Pusa Campus ) and Benaras, the eternal city .

Hyderabad , is  famously known for its  Biryani  ( Love for biryani only seems to be growing in the country, as Swiggy said on Thursday , 13-4-23, that Indians ordered 137 plates of biryani per minute during  2022) and Pearls . It was earlier  known as the City of Lakes presently  has around 1350 waterbodies occupying an area of 2000 ha .

Adventurists can look for   important rock formations  ( part of Deccan Plateau ) .Other than this, one can take Heritage Walk( s ) in Old city on every Sunday, starting from iconic Charminar.

Hyderabad is the first city in country  to have its CBI ( Don't confused with Central Bureau of Investigation ) , it is City Biodiversity Index , as well as it has updated second time in 2023.

Coming back to Butterfly additions for Hyderabad ,  I have collected images and other information  from various sources , to provide an idea for specially to school children and one who loves Butterflies .
